We offer diverse services and resources to members of our community. These services cover a wide array of educational, life support and mentoring services.

Strength in numbers

  • College Bound Kids

  • After-school tutorial services for children grades K through 12. Certified teachers with over 30 years of combined teaching experience. We provide end-of-grade (EOG) test preparation, specialized course tutoring, placement testing, college preparatory services, campus tours, test taking skills, motivational speakers and award ceremonies.
  • I'd Hire You

  • Specialized training in job application completion, interviewing skills, communication, work etiquette and much more.
  • Powerful Parents

  • Parenting sessions on how to become a powerful parent including training in conflict resolution, the parent/child relationship, communication, setting boundaries and much more.
  • Food and Clothing Pantry

  • Support vouchers for people in need which can be redeemed for food, clothing and support services.
  • Father Figures

  • A mentorship program where children who lack a responsible adult father figure in their lives are given an opportunity to spend quality time with men of integrity. Includes group outings and events where healthy fatherly relationhips are modeled to the children by way of safe and controlled interaction.
  • Over Comers Support Group

  • A 12 step support group for men and women with life controlling issues including substance abuse.

On May 5, 2010 Students that Care will start to recognize one program every month. This will highlight a summer or afterschool program that is reaching out to the community one child at a time.
